Special Event - Visiting Author AJB Johnston

The Liverpool Literary Society is delighted, once again, to be co-hosting, another literary event extraordinaire. This will be a second visit from AJB Johnston and it is by popular request after his successful visit last October.

May 13, 2015, Wednesday, 7-9 pm: A J B JOHNSTON: Grand Pré: Landscape for the World, co-written with Ronnie-Gilles LeBlanc. John Johnston returns with a highly visual presentation, tracing the physical and cultural evolution of the area from Mi’kmaqs to the Acadians to the present. Grand Pré, a Parks Canada site on the Evangeline Trail near Wolfville, was recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Voglers Cove Community Hall was the perfect venue last October, and the volunteers of the Read and Share Corner Little Library, who are co-hosting with us once again, provided delicious refreshments. 13th May will be no exception.

Google map reference - this is not exact but you cannot miss this beautiful setting. 8544 Highway 331, Voglers Cove, Lunenburg County.  Email authorsue@hotmail.com for more information.
